Born of Fire is the book before Born of Shadows and it's about Callian older sister Shahara Dagan and one of his friends Syn Wade. Syn is a family friend but Shahara never knew him or met him. Shahara met him cause she signed a contract that would pay her lots if she got him alive and Shahara works as a bounty hunter and Syn is raised as a tech thief cause of his father who is one of the most wanted criminal. Syn isn't a bad guy he just have a bad past because of his dad no one wanted to be with him cause of it. Syn was accuse of rapping a princes but he never did. He knows where she is at but he won't rat out his friend who fell in love with her. Shahara never knew until it was to late and she regrets it. Shahara has a bad past as well a guy she was with back then had gang raped her I think I know she got raped by him and ever since never trusted a guy since not until Syn. Shahara wanted to find away to prove that Syn is innocent in everything he is accused of doing. She felt bad for everything she did she needed the money to pay for her ship and her little sister Kasen medical bills.
